Come join us on a full day trip to E.C Manning Provincial Park. We will look for Clark’s Nutcracker, Canada Jays, Spruce and Sooty Grouse, Cassin’s Finch and Three-toed Woodpecker, Red-naped Sapsucker, Northern Waterthrush, Mountain Bluebird, Pine Grosbeak and more! Animals we are likely to see are Black Bear, Pika, Columbian Ground-Squirrels, Golden-Mantled Ground Squirrels, Red Squirrel, Mule Deer and Yellow-Pine Chipmunks!
There is a cost for gas and rental car and children who can’t afford it will be covered by our donations program. Please contact Melissa at bcbirdergirl@gmail.com if you can’t afford the rental and gas share. Please ensure your child has two meals for the trip or money to purchase one meal. Bring sunscreen, hat, binoculars, water, snacks and peanuts to feed the jays. This trip is NOT appropriate for children allergic to nuts.
